JAQK Cellars 2008 22 Black Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley, California, United States
Background
Why 22? Well, there’s the atomic number of Titanium, the stealthy F-22 Raptor, Catch-22, and the number of bones in your head. There’s the fact that there are 22 balls in snooker, 22 players on a football field, and it’s the number of the NFL’s all-time leading rusher. There are also the classic roulette scenes in The Sting, Lost in America, and, of course, Casablanca. Number 22, one helluva number.
The entry is full and round with mouth-filling tannins. The evolution has a strong presence throughout the entire pallet without being overly heavy. This is a powerful yet balanced wine with a long finish. A classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
