Background
While red wine production governs much of the Orin Swift Cellars portfolio, Mannequin is a realization of a goal to create an eclectic and pleasing white blend. Chardonnay comprises the base, while incorporating complimentary varietals result in a wine that has proper balance, weight and liveliness. For the past three years, we have been purchasing fruit and experimenting with different concepts, finally settling on the 2010 vintage to launch the project. Different, but true to Chardonnay’s ethereal qualities, we hope you enjoy this first release.

Tasting Notes
Beautiful shades of deep gold and amber fill the glass letting loose tropical aromas of ripe peach and pear married with subtle French oak. The entry of the wine is fully mouth-coating and offers a viscosity that leads effortlessly into an intense mid-palette with the colorful acidity of fresh pineapple. The finish of the wine is soft and subtle with great length and volume.
